About

Hi, I'm Jenny, the baker behind Boot's Bakery + Goods.

What started as a love for sourdough and baking for family and friends has grown into a small-batch bakery focused on quality ingredients, thoughtful craftsmanship, and simple goodness.

As a Navy veteran and small business owner, I built Boot's Bakery + Goods on the values of hard work, service, and community. Every loaf, jar, and seasonal specialty is prepared by me in my Texas cottage kitchen and made with care from start to finish.

My goal is simple: create products I'm proud to serve my own family. From fresh sourdough bread and sweet treats to pantry favorites and seasonal goods, each item is made in small batches with attention to quality and flavor.

Whether you're visiting me at a local farmers market, picking up a pre-order, or following along on this journey, I'm grateful you're here.

Thank you for supporting a small business and allowing me to share a little piece of my kitchen with your family.

Welcome to Boot's Bakery + Goods.

Frequently asked questions

How do pre-orders work?

Our menu changes weekly and is available for pre-order through our website. Simply add your items to your cart, choose your pickup option, and check out before the weekly pre-order deadline.

When do pre-orders close?

Pre-orders typically close Thursday at 6:00 PM to give us time to prepare for weekend pickups and markets.

Do I have to pre-order?

No! You're always welcome to shop the farm stand and booths at the farmers market without placing a pre-order.

However, because I make everything in small batches, I cannot guarantee that specific items will still be available at the market. Pre-ordering is the best way to reserve your favorites and ensure they're waiting for you at pickup.

Where can I pick up my order?

Orders can be picked up at our scheduled farmers markets or during designated local pickup times. Pickup details will be provided at checkout.

Do you offer shipping?

At this time, we offer local pickup only.

Does the menu change?

Yes! Many of our breads, jams, treats, candles, and seasonal goods rotate throughout the year based on availability and seasonal flavors.

Can I request a specific flavor?

We love hearing suggestions! While we can't guarantee special requests each week, customer favorites often make repeat appearances on future menus.

Do you accept custom orders?

Custom orders may be available depending on our schedule. Please contact us for availability.

How should I store my sourdough bread?

Store your bread at room temperature in a bread bag, bread box, or wrapped in a clean kitchen towel. Avoid refrigeration, as it can cause bread to stale more quickly.

Do your products contain allergens?

Many products contain or may come into contact with common allergens such as wheat, dairy, eggs, and nuts. Please review product descriptions and contact us with any questions.

Are your products made in a home kitchen?

Yes. Products are made in accordance with Texas Cottage Food Law and are not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or a local health department.

Can I return my jars?

Absolutely! We gladly accept clean, undamaged Boot's Bakery + Goods jars for reuse. Jar returns are completely optional, but they help reduce waste and support our sustainability efforts. Look for the jar return basket at our market booth.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept online payments through our website and additional payment methods at select markets.
